About 'The Mother is Born Co'
My name is Megan Chauvet and I'm a mom of two. My first postpartum journey rocked me to my core. It wasn't until my first-born was about 9 months when I decided I could not let another mom-to-be feel so blind-sided by new motherhood. I started a Facebook support page, sharing more openly online, and started curating gifts for what I felt every mom needs during this vulnerable time.
What started as a love for photographing expecting and new moms bloomed into a full-blown passion for advocating for moms and what I feel is my purpose: helping mothers feel seen, supported, and cared for through every season of motherhood.

1. The Heart of the Brand
The Mother Is Born is a mother-centered brand built on the belief that mothers deserve to be cared for, too.
From the anticipation of pregnancy to the vulnerability of postpartum and the ever-changing seasons that follow, I create thoughtful products, meaningful gifts, and moments of care that remind mothers they haven't been forgotten in the process of becoming someone else's everything.
Because motherhood stretches, challenges, and grows women and it introduces parts they may never knew existed. And somewhere in the middle of all of this and caring for everyone else, she deserves to be cared for too.
2. Mission Statement
The mission is to nurture the mother behind motherhood through thoughtful gifts, intentional care packages, and meaningful products that remind women they are seen, supported, and worthy of care in every season of becoming a mother.
I believe that when a baby is born, a mother is born too. And her transformation deserves to be acknowledged, celebrated, and supported just as deeply.

To create a world where no mother feels forgotten in the beautiful, messy, overwhelming, and transformative experience of motherhood.
Through meaningful products, thoughtful gestures, and a community rooted in compassion, we hope to make caring for mothers as natural as celebrating the babies they bring into the world.
